You know the cool part about being an admin? I get to move things around. So when you think it's all the same thing, I wave my finger at you and go no-no-no. Even the webmaster is unaware of the changes (or for now at least)... So I restructured the way that you enter the site. The main page now actually takes into account the "summary" property of phpwcms. The top X (I think I set it to 8) articles will be displayed, and the rest.. well, I think I'll move them to an archive. I guess this gives the website more of a WordPress feeling.
Perhaps this might be slightly old news to you, but AV-Comparatives released its newest findings last month. Interestingly enough, Microsoft's security product (Microsoft OneCare) placed last with only an 82% detection rate.

I have this website right.. and it never gets updated... So why not change that? When else would there be a better time than mid-finals week. So first, I was tinkering with phpwcms and came to several realizations.

I figure that it's nearly that time again. Yes, yes, it's time for an update. A program that I have been working on recently is called PGBlockGenerator. The program is simple - it monitors connections, and will be able to detect when a new connection is established, clearly marking it. Why is this useful? Well, say that you would like to edit your PeerGuardian2 (PG2) block list cache... well, this program will automatically generate a plaintext file formatted and ready to be imported into PG2. more…
